ABOUT YOUR VISIT
Having your first appointment can be daunting for some people, but here at The McIndoe Centre, we pride ourselves on our friendly, welcoming service. This
section, which we will be adding to, explains a bit about what you can expect from your visit.
Step 1 - Consultation
When you come in for an appointment, we’ll discuss the reason for your visit, and talk through your possible outcomes, investigations, or treatments.
Step 2 - Investigation
Our renowned team of experts will use this information to provide a diagnosis. You might receive this in person or have it sent to your doctor. We’ll talk you through the range of treatments, if appropriate, so you can make an informed decision on what action to take.
Step 3 - Diagnosis
If necessary, we’ll arrange for suitable checks to help with diagnosis. These range from ultra-sound to cervical smear tests.
Step 4 - Treatment
If treatment is needed, we provide a wide range of options, or can refer you to appropriate specialists if it’s not something we offer.
